Culture for the eyes and the palate: Val Gardena is known for its rich history. There is much to discover in the footsteps of the Rhaetians and the Romans, and a journey to discover the treasures of art and architecture is promising. The local heritage museum “Museum de Gherdёina” offers a stroll through the valley’s history, but even during a visit of woodcarving laboratories it is possible to get to know an important piece of local craftmanship. Cooking classes and farm visits are highly recommended for gourmets.
